Chapter 1: Arriving at School
Ring! Ring! Ring!
"Anne, it's time to wake up! You're going to be late for school!"
Yawn!
"Five more minutes," Anne murmurs.
"No! Your gonna be late if you don't get up now!" says Anne's Mom as she rips off her covers.
Brrr! Its freezing cold. But then it's always cold in Frigita. We recently moved from Aeria and now I have
to learn in a brand new school.
"Why does school have to start so early!" cries Anne.
"It's only 9:30. You have half an hour before school starts, so hurry up."
"Ugh!" Mom shoves me out of bed. I walk over to the bathroom to wash up. I wish my hair
wasn't so long, it's gonna take more than half an hour to wash this. Somehow I was able to
manage fixing it up.
I decide to go to school today nice, with a Spazzaz! I put on favorite flower shirt,
glitter sprinkled over my hair and a nice pair of Levi jeans with glitter, and my name all over it. I hustle
downstairs and drain a protein shake before hurrying out the door. I put on a fur coat and some boots
cause it was snowing out. As I walked to school I felt sweaty and I took off the fur coat and just kept
walking. I felt surprisingly warm even though it was all cold and snowy outside. The bell started to ring.
"Nooo! I'm gonna be late!"
I hustle down to the school and made it just in time. Or at least that's what it seemed like.
"Who are you young lady?" asked the lady at the door, strictly.
"I'm Anne, I'm here for my first day of school."
"Well that's mighty fine, but… YOUR LATE! School started 5 minutes ago. Go down to the
principle for detention."
My jaw dropped. Great, my first day of school and I got detention. Perfect, just perfect. With so
many doors, it was hard to navigate to the front of the school. I finally found out the entrance
right behind the dumpster. I found the principal's office, and knocked on the door.
