Blaine was logging out of every account on his laptop when the familiar tune, indicating a Skype call started going off. He answered immediately and quickly picked up and held his index finger to his lips, telling his boyfriend to be quiet. Sebastian smiled, barely able to make out Blaine in the dark room. Blaine picked up the laptop, grabbed his headphones and slowly made his way out to the hallway. He then did a few feet of walking until he was on a lobby on their floor. It was mostly quiet and there weren't that many people. He took a seat on the floor against the wall and put the laptop on his legs. He plugged his headphones in and then looked back at the screen with a wide smile.

"I didn't know you were calling tonight."

Sebastian shrugged, "I didn't either. But studying's getting so boring."

"Bas," Blaine chastised lightly with a chuckle.

"So why the hell is your roommate asleep? It's only ten."

Blaine frowned, "Time difference."

"Oh yeah…" Sebastian said softly. Blaine was on the east coast- New York. And Sebastian had somehow ended up on the west coast- California. Almost 3,000 miles separated them. And there was a 3 hour time difference. And still, it seemed to be working, although neither of them liked to acknowledge the distance between them.

Blaine shrugged with a soft smile.

"Wait, why the hell aren't you asleep?" Sebastian said with a laugh.

"Term paper," Blaine explained, running a hand through his extremely messy hair.

"Is it done?" Sebastian asked, raising an eyebrow.

Blaine smiled proudly and nodded. "Completely finished. I think it's actually A material."

"Everything you do is," Sebastian hummed.

"Shush." Blaine mumbled, blushing softly.

"It's true, B. No wonder you have like a 4.0 gpa."

"3.8," Blaine said, looking down.

Sebastian laughed and rolled his eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me!" Blaine laughed.

Sebastian laughed again, rolling his eyes more obviously.

"You're such an ass," Blaine huffed.

"But you love me," Sebastian said with a smirk.

"I do." Blaine admitted softly, trying to hold back a yawn.

"I don't understand why," Sebastian laughed.

"Me neither," Blaine said, leaning back against the wall.

"Hey, babe, how about you go to bed?" Sebastian offered.

Blaine pouted and shook his head, sitting straighter. "No, no. I'm fine."

"No, you're tired. I don't blame you. It's one and you just finished a term paper you were working on for god knows how long."

Blaine laughed a little but shook his head. "Bas, I'm fine. I want to hear about your day. I want to talk to you. I miss you."

"How about this," Sebastian purposed, "You go back to your room and keep the laptop on your bed. You can close your eyes and keep the headphones on and I'll tell you all about my day until you fall asleep?"

Blaine shook his head, "I want to stay up to hear about your day."

"Fine. You can stay up. Just rest your head and close your eyes and listen to me?" Sebastian suggested.

"Fair," Blaine said, smiling softly.

Blaine made the journey back to his room. He settled onto his bed and got under the covers. He rested his head on the pillows and angled the laptop so Sebastian could see his face, but in the lighting it was mostly an outline. Blaine smiled at Sebastian before closing his eyes and then Sebastian begun telling Blaine about his day. All of the mundane things he did. And he told Blaine of everything that reminded him of Blaine or of them or of the upcoming summer break, which they would spend together. It took less than ten minutes for Blaine to be snoring softly. Sebastian watched fondly and told Blaine he loved him before shutting his own laptop and getting back to work.
