Angels of fate stared in awe,
At a pair so different,
Yet the sweetest one they ever saw...
The lady was an instructor,
With golden locks and a fiery spirit,
But something was wrong,

The man was a knight,
Well former anyways,
Always getting into trouble,
Always in a daze...
The 2 never got along,
Conversations with mockery and venom,
But their closest friends,
Knew exactly what was with them.
They were in love,
Just too proud to admit it,
Although many people didn't approve,
There was something special behind it...
Memories of past,
Visions of the future,
The leader Squall was skeptical,
But he knew this couple was a winner.
Squall's lover Rinoa,
Also known as a sorceress,
Thought this couple was perfect,
Nothing more-nothing less.
The pair, not as lovers yet,
Fought over just about everything.
From tests and quizzes,
To what creature was on Squall's ring ^_^*.
Then one special night,
At the dance of their school,
When all was serene,
Peaceful and cool...
His eyes had laid on her,
In a light that had never shown,
For she was dressed as an angel that night,
And she was standing there all alone...
He strode over to her,
With a genuine smile on his face,
He held out his hand to her,
And hoped it wasn't too late...
Surprisingly, the pair shared a dance,
To a slow song of sheer will,
The song came to a stop...
And unexpectedly, Seifer went in for the kill...(he he he he)
His mouth neared hers,
But she didn't refuse,
There was nothing to hide,
Nothing to lose...
Finally, as if fate would have it,
The lovers shared their first kiss ever,
A bit of a shock,
But they couldn't run forever.
Unknown to them,
The crowd watched in awe,
Most of them claiming,
It was the most unlikely pair they ever saw.
After all was said and done,
The couple parted from their kiss,
To find that they enjoyed it,
Goddess, it was sheer bliss...
Only did they once notice,
That the crowd was staring at them,
Did they turn crimson and blush,
Hell, they didn't know what was with em...
They were reluctant to show it,
But a new feeling surged inside their hearts,
One that had been buried for so long,
They realized they would never let each other go,
They would never part.
The angels continued to watch,
Seeing how long humans wait,
To find their true lovers,
But was this couple fate?
The angels just all sighed,
Time was just so mean,
So when the angels asked it,
It just smiled and said "wait and see."
