When I see her laugh,
At the Blonde's jokes,
It Doesn't Burn Me
Because of his looks,
Or his innocent flirts.
No,
It hurt me,
Because he makes the beautiful angel,
Clothed in pink and yellow,
Laugh.
He makes her laugh,
When I can't,
And that hurts me.
I don't care
If he knew her since 8
I don't care
If he's better than me
All I want
Is to have that Child of Light
Laugh at my jokes,
To Hear her laugh ringing
In my ears,
Knowing I made it come out of her
And to have her need me
To comfort her
In a time of grief
Would be nice,
But just a laugh,
Would be all.
I want her to love me
And to need me
When she's down.
I want to be
By her side
In a time of pain,
For me to hug her,
To joke,
And to listen
To that laugh,
Knowing I cheered her up.
All I want is a laugh.
