Erm, just a reeeeally short thing I wrote a little while ago after listening to the Drama CD so.. enjoy~

He's fun to poke at- I have to keep in my mind that it may cost me my life, of course.

"Hey.. Izaya?"

Even though Shizu-chan doesn't love me...

"Shizu-chan..?" Izaya whimpered, taking his eyes from the door the man was now perched against. Shizuo glanced at the bandage covering a fraction of Izaya's head before noticing a matching one around his thigh.
"Tch.." His eyes retreated to the ground, not liking the sensation of guilt running through him.

In fact, I'd have politely refused to be loved by him since it would have been a hell of trouble...

Izaya still averted his gaze from Shizuo as he heard the footsteps hesitantly step forward. He flinched as he felt a sudden sting on his thigh. He eyes shut tight as he realized a hand lingering up the bandage, tracing the lines where it wrapped around. As the feeling stopped he slowly peered into the open. A sharp gasp was let out as he noticed the man now in front of him, eyeing him carefully. Izaya wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to see that old hate he grew used to in Shizuo's eyes, or if he was okay with getting used to this new, gentler one. It showed so much worry, he wasn't sure if he was really awake or not.

But.. I wouldn't mind being loved more by that chain of serendipity Shizu-chan is sometimes good at jingling.

Izaya watched the debt collector raise his hand, petting at the hairs that stood out of the bandage on his head. A hand placed on his head, still ruffling through his hair, and another one bringing up his chin, turning Izaya's attention back to him. He pulled him closer, resting his lips on the bandage, before drifting to the other man's lips and doing the same.
"Sorry.. Izaya." After the break, they connected once more.

Yet again, Shizuo had Izaya questioning his feelings on his supposed enemy, wondering what it'd be like if he could truely love him.
