Nat's Note: Yeah, your probably thinking.Nat writes the strangest couples! Well, just because Ginny doesn't end up Harry.DOES NOT mean it sucks.

Ginny sighed, ever since she had told Ron on the train last year that she had her heart set on Dean, he didn't treat him the same way. She had left the Gryffindor common room because Ron was yelling at Dean for no reason at all, and it was getting on her nerves. But she wanted to leave so quickly that she had forgotten her cloak inside. She shivered, as the winter wind blew her long, red hair.

She stopped walking to admire the frozen lake. The cold weather had turned her cheeks a rosy red, making her freckles almost invisible against it. She smiled to herself, twirling a piece of her scarlet hair around her small index finger. There wasn't much sun out anymore,t he clouds began covering the much-needed sun, as promises of snow soon became conceivable. She wanted it to snow, because then maybe she could have a snow fight with Dean, despite Ron's irritable mood towards him.

She blinked, remembering what Ron had said to her the night before, "Why can't you go back to your Harry obssesion?" Why should she like someone that obviously would never feel the same way? Besides, Harry was too busy saving the world from evil wizards and such. Plus the fact he didn't seem interested in females generally. She often saw him at mealtimes, staring at the Slytherin table. She chuckled to herself, trying to imagine him in leather pants, fawning over another guy.

Ginny shivered again, but someone had now placed a warm cloak around her. She whipped around, seeing Dean. "Oh, Dean. I'm really sorry about Ron. I don't know whats gotten into him, really." Actually, she did know what had gotten into him. But she wasn't about to tell Dean that she had a crush on him and Ron didn't like him for that reason. He looked at her for a moment before answering, his dark skin shining as he smiled.

"It's okay. No biggie." Ginny loved the way Dean never had a problem with things. He was always okay with everything, nothing ever bothered him. To tell the truth, she could go on and on about all the good things she loved about Dean.

"Dean," she began. She was finally going to tell him. She turned and faced him. "I need to tell you something." She was blushing, but she didn't look any different since her cheeks were already flushed. He raised his eyebrows, waiting for her to tell him whatever it was. "Well...I..." She just couldn't say it. Dean caught on to her stuttering.

"You like me." He finished, locking his eyes with hers. She nodded slowly, and he took her chin in his right-hand, lifting it so he could kiss her. He bent down a little, and their lips locked. As they began to kiss, snowflakes fell all around them.
