Okay. Wow. I had honestly forgotten about this story. (Sorry about that!)
But! I am back now! For real this time. I plan to completely overhaul this story. I mean, I started it when I was in like 8th grade, now I'm a sophomore in college and I'm looking back on these and cringing about my writing style. You know, like you do when you have the benefit of age and knowledge.
Right now, I am in the process of rewriting this story. The main plot will stay the same but I'm just updating a few things. Like I'm changing a few names and a few events. Nothing too major. Mainly, it's a cosmetic change.
Now, I don't even know how many of you will even look at this story again or even give it another chance. Which I wouldn't blame you for at all. Because I am not what you might call a "reliable author" when it comes to timely updates. I feel bad about leaving you all high and dry, but I am trying to get better about it.
And! In doing so, I will leave up the original chapters until I have them rewritten and posted, mainly so you guys can compare them if you want to and decide whether or not this story is still worth your time.
Also, I really appreciate all of you. Everyone who has ever read my work (seriously, I've been going through it, and you guys all deserve medals because some of this was genuinely bad, in my opinion). If you want, just let me know in the reviews or in my PMs what you think of the new chapters once they're up.
On a final note, I am still super sad that the show ended, but I am satisfied with where it ended. It honestly could have been a lot worse and I am just very glad that I have had the opportunity to follow such a phenomenal show along with all of its wonderful fans! Fun fact about me, as an ending: Bones actually introduced me to the field of Anthropology, which is now my college major! I love it dearly and I will always remember what led my life in this wonderful direction. Also, final-final note: would you guys be interested in me posting a fun Anthropology fact at the end of each chapter? Just random tidbits of info that I have learned in my courses.
Now I'm actually done with this (surprisingly long) note. Hope to hear you guys' thoughts and opinions soon! (And I'm trying to relearn formatting on , so I apologize for this weirdly formatted note.)
