We had a silent understanding.
I wouldn't ask about Sai and Shindou wouldn't mention his feelings for me.
It's worked for awhile now. Perhaps too well considering how frustrated I've become with it. Not so much because I'm still highly curious about his connection with Sai, but also because I've started to see Shindou as a friend.
More than a friend, really.
So shouldn't it only be fair to know everything about him? And vice versa?
I can accept hearing his affections now, but is he willing to exchange them for Sai?
Only one way to know.
