"Nymphadora, sit down. You're scaring Teddy." Her mother commanded gently.
Tonks shook her head, eyes worried. "What if – I mean, with Remus, he's – I can't just…"
Andromeda nodded, understanding perfectly what her daughter was going through. "He just wants the two of you to be safe. He's fighting for a better world."
Tonks bit her lip. "He's fighting alone."
"With all the rest of Hogwarts."
"But…Teddy is my son too. I should be there with him."
Andromeda smiled, blinking back tears, and stretched out her arms. "Then what are you waiting for?"
Tonks handed Teddy over to her mother, giving her a tight hug. "I love you, mum. Take good care of him." She bent over Teddy, giving him a peck on the forehead, "Be good for your grandmum, Ted."
Andromeda closed her eyes, composing herself. "I love you, Nymphadora. Come back soon, with Remus, you hear?"
Tonks laughed nervously. "I will, mum! I love you!" She sprinted out the door.
