Forever A Loving Kitsune
I watched as an occasional flicker of silver flashed every once in a while, the moon's reflection lightly kissing the lake. I knew that white lightning bolt was my koi, the beautiful Youko Kurama and the perfect Shuichi Minamino. Who was who? They were none, and yet they were both. He came out of the trees, a lone leaf resting on his head and a light laugh reaching my ears. I slowly stood softly and walked over to My Fox. My Kitsune. My Kurama.
I gently pick off the leaf; it's green color reflecting on the kitsune's silver mane. He smiled at me and lightly kissed me. "My Hiei," he said in a low whisper and hugged me. "My Fox," I answered in return. I watched as his hair slowly melted from shining silver to blood red and shimmering, mischievous gold eyes to sparkling, wise green. His foxy tail and ears disappeared and he grew shorter. Slowly, we walked towards his house, our hands intertwined, just like our lives, our very souls; our pathway highlighted by the full moon. "Ashiteru, Fox," I whisper. "Ashiteru, my koi," I hear him whisper in return.
