Maybell writes a poem about Leslie from her English class she stood up in front of the class and reads.
Maybell, "This poem is about a friend of mine the passed away Leslie this is for you."
You came into this world if only for a little while
You made everything around you bright with your
Smile.
I no we weren't really friends but I hope you won't
Mind if I believed we were till the end, my brother
Loved you he wouldn't say it but I no it's true when he
Was down you made him not feel blue.
Thankyou for being who you were a shining star in
The universe you made things better not worse,
When ever I see a rainbow or sunset, I will think
Of you and how came into our lives if only for
A little while I loved your clothes and sense of style.
You were an inspiration to one all and I hope you are
Happy were ever you are dancing among all those stars
In the night sky this is not my final goodbye but till we
See each other again you were are really good friend.
Now this is the end.
Folding the piece of paper in her hands and everyone clapped her and then the bell rang for the end of the day she got her stuff and met Jess outside.
Jess, "You read your poem today?"
Maybell, "Sure did everyone loved it you no Jess I'm glad Leslie came into our life's if only for a little while."
Jess, "Very true so you want to go to Terabithia today?"
Saying yes when the bus pulled up and everyone piled up holding hands and sitting together on they bus they thought of Leslie and how in the end she had really saved them.
