Helena had always prided herself in her ability to stay in control of her emotions and figure things out logically. Even when information, like the fact that the man she was planning on marrying was an honest to God vampire, challenged the way she saw the world, she had the ability to stay in control and work it out.
But this, how could she ever cope with this?
There didn't seem to be a solution, how could she choose between never having children or changing her species and entire world and be with Liam forever, perpetually young, perpetually childless. But how could she be happy without him, and be content to live a normal human life now that she knew what was out there?
Helena shook her head, this wasn't a choice she could possibly make.
