Hey everybody! This is my first ever fanfic. I don't really enjoy writing, bit thought I'd give it a go. Please review and give me constructive criticism, It'd be great to hear from you! I'm not very confident in my writing, and any tips or advice anyone may have would be much appreciated.
I'm not very happy with the way this turned out. It sounded good in my head, but now I think it's stupid. But I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
I know Draco is quite out of character; but I based him on someone i know, and Hermione on myself kind of. I get a bit like this sometimes haha. And now I sound like a psycho. Oh well. I love the Dramione pairing, so I used them.(:
Hermione and Draco are best friends who live across the road from one another.
Hermione screamed in frustration, throwing her hairbrush into a wall, where it broke. The two pieces fell to the floor with a thud.
"Shit," she growled. Tears threatened to fall from her eyes. "Shit, shit, shit, SHIT!"
Then she heard a familiar knock on the door.
"Oh crap, I can't see Draco like this," she thought, opening the door, wiping her eyes and trying her best to smile.
"Hey.." Draco said, his smile fading when he saw Hermione's face. "What's wrong?"
"Oh, what? Nothing's wrong," she said, leading him through the house and into her bedroom.
Draco raised an eyebrow.
"Ugh, don't worry about it Draco. Just girl stuff." She sat down on the bed and Draco sat next to her.
Draco cringed. "You mean like, periods and stuff?"
"Haha. No. As in, I'm having one of those days where i realise how ugly and gross I am and have a cry. It's nothing to worry about. I'll get over it. I've already accepted it a long time ago. But sometimes... I get really angry about it. Wow. Man I'm weird."
"What do you mean?" Draco asked. If he was honest with himself, she was kind of freaking him out.
"Well.. look at me. My hair is frizzy and a boring brown colour, and my eyes are plain brown too. I have these weird freckles on my face. My nose is munted, my lips are too big, my stomach is gross..." she patted her flat stomach self conciously.
"Your hair is pretty when it's curly. And it's not boring brown. It's a nice colour. And i think your eyes are gorgeous." Draco said, hardly believing he was saying this aloud. He continued anyway. "And you have a cute nose. The freckles are cute too. Don't call yourself fat, Hermione. You have a great body."
Hermione's already pink cheeks turned red.
"And your lips.." Draco murmured, caressing them with his fingers. "They're not too big. They're soft, and perfect."
He brushed his hand over her warm cheek, and slowly leaned towards her.
Hermione's heart was in a frenzy. She'd been dreaming of this moment for a long time. His scent in her nose, his soft blonde hair tickling her her face, his arms holding her, his lips on hers...
When he pulled away, Hermione was breathing heavily in her excitement and disbelief. Draco smirked as only a Malfoy could, and pulled her in for a hug.
"Don't ever put yourself down again, Hermione Granger." He whispered into her hair. "I think you're beautiful."
