When you'd return

Tsun Pov

'Life had returned to Tao at long last after the defeat of Komodo, the life springs slowly returned to their full state, Yun on the other hand… ever since the passing of Master Chung… I could not blame him for his distant nature, and becoming the leader of the entire village, as his friend I couldn't stand seeing him alone like this, everyday he seemed to be more distant with the rest of us. Lai and Yee couldn't get through to him, not even Chi couldn't get anything out of him. It seemed it would be up to me to help him.

I was the virtue of Loyalty, kind and loyalty, I knew I needed to talk to Yun or I sensed something in wind uneasy, I would wait tonight when we would be alone.'

End of Pov

The night fell on the land of Tao, village lights danced in the night, everyone was retiring to slumber of peaceful dreams, and the wind blew quietly along the trees, their world was healing at last. Yun sat near the gently flowing river, his ears picked up someone behind him. He quickly turned and eased when he saw who it was.

"Tsun…"

"Yun… can we talk?"

He gestured for her to sit next to him, and she did. "I know I don't understand your position in all of this, but you seemed to becoming distant and clouded about certain matters and I'm here if you need someone to talk to… I'm here for you." She said placing her hand on his shoulder in a comforting gesture. The warrior of Earth went to take her leave, to let his thoughts wondered whatever they maybe.

"It's my shame… that clouds my judgments and with everyone. I killed a life, I broke my vow, and I live everyday in my disgrace and shame." He spoke with his back turned.

Tsun looked towards him and sighed quietly. "Yun, let the past be the past, it was war and it was a mistake, I know you better than anyone, your stronger than this, let it go Yun, look at what has happened, Master Chung had forgiven you, so has Lai, Yee, Chi and most of all me… I knew you would return, I felt it, and when I sensed that you had came back, my heart lifted, I felt there was hope and light in the world again, you have something far greater and you're so clouded in your shame to see what you have before you. Family, friends and the people have welcomed you back…please Yun, think about that for a change." Tsun finished and made her way back to the balcony that overlooked the training grounds.

"I think you're the only one who can get through to him." Chi said appearing from behind the column.

"I know." She replied quietly.

"Your patience is a virtue I think I'll ever understand." He replied with humor in his voice.

She chuckled at his humor, "He has a storm of emotions he has to find himself through, but he'll get there, that is why he is our leader." She smiled at her friend.

They heard someone broke the silence and it was no other than their leader Yun with a small smile. Chi knew on cue to leaven them alone, he left silently as the wind blew through the quiet trees of their world. Tsun stared at Yun with a warm smile, and he couldn't help but smile as well.

He stood next to her and suddenly hugged her. "Thank you." was all he said.

She held him back with a warm feeling inside, her smile became more with meaning, her friend, and leader had returned to her last, she knew he would return.
