A/N: Hi guys, this is a (crappy) one-shot for a lovely person glove23 on Tumblr :)
ABSOLUTELY NOT SOMETHING I WOULD WRITE, but, oh well!
An hour had passed since Voldemort had fallen to the ground, and Harry had won.
He went around looking for her, the one he needed to see the most.
"Don't worry, George, he'll be fine." Harry heard Ginny say to George, who was hugging her. He was surprised to see her not crying, especially since her favorite brother, Fred, had died. That was one of the reasons why he was deeply in love with her.
Had died.
It hit him. He was the reason they had lost so many people. Harry was sure Ginny wouldn't even look at him again.
He turned around and ran off, tears streaming down his face before anybody could see him.
*A week later
"Hey?" said a weak voice belonging to Ginny.
This was the first time she had spoken to Harry in days. She had caught him off guard and so he did not make any eye contact or say anything.
"You haven't spoken to me since the war ended, did I do something wrong?"
Harry finally looked into her eyes and noticed she hadn't been sleeping either, "No, you could never do anything wrong, Gin"
"Look I'm sorry, and I don't want to sound needy, but I really," she sighed, "I really need you right now. So please, just tell me"
"It's not you, it can never be you Ginny. It's just that..."
"You know you can tell me anything, right?"
"I realized that, that I'm the reason for Fred's death, and that he would still be here if it-"
"Look, if there is one thing that my brother taught me, it's that none of this is our fault, it never was. Huh, its kind of funny, he wrote me a letter, I don't know when, I found it under his bed. He told me that you and I, we're meant to be together. And I believe him." She paused for a minute, then finally spoke, "So, whenever you're ready to speak to me again, you know where I live"
She walked away with a weak smile on her face.
Harry couldn't help but smile at the thought of them together.
