[Lorelai cell phone rings]
''Hi, hon.'' Lorelai says
''Is that Rory? Did she say yes?'' Emily asks her and watches Lorelai walk away
Lorelai sees Chris ''Hey, it s Rory. Do you want to come?'' she asks Chris
''No. You go.'' he tells her
''Okay. [Too Rory] Hi.'' Lorelai says
Lorelai meets Rory outside.
''hey.'' Lorelai says
''hey.'' Rory ays
''you okay?'' Lorelai asks her
''yea yea I think I'm just going to get out of here.'' Rory tells her
''What?'' Lorelai questions her
''where are you thinking of going?'' Lorelai asks her
''I don't know yet. Just away for a drive for a while just to think and clear my head.'' Rory tells her
''well okay. If that's what you really want to do and just blow off your Logan and your Grandparent's party just like that.'' Lorelai says
''I do I need to do this for me.'' she tells her mom
''okay.'' Lorelai says
''okay so I'll see you later.'' Rory tells her
''okay hun.'' she kisses Rory's cheek
''I'll get your dad help me move all the rest of your stuff from your apartment to my jeep to take home.'' Lorelai tells her
''okay. Oh wait!'' Rory says
''what hun?'' Lorelai questions her
''here key.'' Rory says and hands it to her from her keys
''thanks bye hun.'' Lorelai says
''bye.'' Rory says and goes to her car and gets in and pulls away from the Yale Campus and gets on the highway and presses Jess's number
''lo?'' Jess says
''hey Jess it's Rory, sorry did I wake you?'' she tells and asks him
''uh no no what's up?'' he asks her
