Well, I was watching Betrothed, and I thought I would write a perhaps one shot fic about how Raven felt about the whole ordeal.
During Betrothed
I was shocked. Starfire hung her head as though it was something terrible. I went thtough her mind and found out she was leaving Earth for Tameran. We were all surprised, but none so much as Robin. This saddened me.We were all determined to go with her.
The next day, we were off to ... Tameran. It was not a good ride for me. The more Starfire told Robin, the more ... love, I guess one could say, he showed. Then she told Robin she did not know her betrothed. He almost flew through the roof! This also saddened me. He loved her.
Robin was not vey happy with this whole ordeal.To add to it all,some green bug looking ships attacked us.We were out number ten to one.This was not pleaseing to any of us. To make matters worse, when we finnally got to Tameran, the Grand Ruler was none other than ... Blackfire. This was not a pleasant surprise, but to Starfire, this was an attrosity. Her sister, the very one who tried to over throw Starfire from the Titans.
Blackfire explained to Starfire that she was Betroted to the Skelrch of a starnge planet called Drenthax Four, where the "people" looked like boogers. The look on Robin face was priceless, though it was not pleasing to me, as heis the one I ... love. If I could change one thing,it would be ... well to rid myself of my father. But the other thing I would change would be that Robin loves Starfire. I like him very much, more than he understands.
Robin eventually broke. He saw the look on Starfire's face when she found out she was marrying the ruler of booger "people". He sent me to spy on Blackfire, and Cyborg and Beast Boy to investigate the ships. I found out that it was all a scheme for Blackfire to get the sacred jewl ofCharta (it was well known on Azarath)from,Glrdlesklech as he was called, Glrdlesklechhh (ha,I spelled it right, I sawthe script!)But the booger saw me, and Blackfire had me taken me to a small room. Not to my surprise, the other two boys were there as well. A miniute or two later, Robin was thrown in. He said that he couldn't change Starfire's mind, that she had to do this, for her people. We explained to him Blackfire's plot. We attacked the guards and made our way to just above the hall in which the wedding was taking place.
Robin screamed out Starfire's name louder that even a demon could, catching her attention. Starfire had pretty much gathered it was all her sisters plot for power. When Blackfire came to the I do's, Starfire rejected Glrdlesklech. Blackfire declared it as treason. She told Starfire that she promised to what was right for Tameran. Starfire spat out that Blackfire that she was not right for Tameran. Sha had challenged her sister for the crown.
Robin wanted to inerveighn (sp) but Galfore told him that if he did, the challange would be void. We just had to stand and watch. Even with the all powerful Jewl of Charta, Starfire defeated Blackfire. Starfire was now the empress of Tameran. We thought we would never see her again. But we were wrong. At her innogeration (sp) She told her people that she was not right for Tameran, and gave the crown to Galfore. She stated that next time she was to get married, it would be to someone she loved, maybe even someone from Earth. I knew she was talking about Robin. But I would not let that happen.
