Everyone thought that Santana and Quinn hated each other so you can imagine the New Direction's shock when they walked into the choir room and found Santana trapped against the piano and Quinn kissing her passionately.
Kurt was the first one to snap out of his daze, "What's going on here?"
The two girls sprang apart as if they were burned.
"Nothing, what makes you think there's something going on here?" asked Quinn looking at Santana from the corner of her eye.
"We just walked onto you two making out against the piano, I think that classifies as something" Mercedes interjects.
"Now I think I can speak for all of us when I say that even though it might not be any of our business everyone is curious about what we just saw since we were all under the pretence that you two hated each other" Rachel says in one breath.
"What are you going on about?" Quinn asked.
"Berry I swear if you say one more thing I will go all Lima Heights on you ass and this time not even Quinn will be able to keep me back" Santana said glaring at Rachel.
Puck smirked at the scene. He knew Q and Santana were going out for quite some time now, he was just surprised the glee club didn't figure it out sooner. When he found out that both of the girls were gay, for each other to boost, he was quite surprised. But he got over it and now the trio formed an unlikely friendship based on booze and video games.
"Come on Q, San, drop the pretences it lasted long enough" Puck said smirking at the girls.
Santana glanced at Quinn and when she gave a small shrug she stepped closer to Quinn and wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Okay fine, me and Q are dating, happy?"
The moment those words passed Santana's lips the glee club began talking over each other.
"Since when?"
"But I thought you and Brittany..."
"Don't you hate each other?"
"How did this happen anyway?"
"How didn't we notice?"
"Okay, okay one at a time please, because I can't understand a word anyone is saying" Quinn said smirking.
"Okay, so for how long were you dating?"
"I would say about 5 months...?"
"Oh please Q, you were mine way before that" Santana interjected.
"Let's just say 5 months, for people that don't know our history this can be quite confusing" winked Quinn.
"I think everyone is dying to ask this; weren't you and Brittany like completely in love?" Rachel asked.
"Sanny never loved me the way she loves Quinnie, it was always the two of them" Brittany said as if it was obvious.
"Spot on Britt-Britt" Santana said winking at her other best friend.
"How did this start?"
"It started when we were about fourteen and I saw Quinn..."
"I think they meant when we started dating, S."
"Should've been clearer then" Santana shrugged.
"It was at my house, we were playing Halo and Quinn totally kicked San's ass, one thing led to another and they were making out on the floor of my basement" Puck shrugged "totally hot," he added as an after thought.
The glee club took their seats as Mr. Schue entered the room. Everything went as normal but now the members noticed how the pair sat closer together and how Santana's arm was slung across the back of Quinn's chair and Quinn had her head on Santana's shoulder.
"I love you" Quinn whispered.
"I love you too" Santana said pressing a quick kiss onto Quinn's lips.
