Chapter 1: The discovery
" So, where are those jewels I deposited?" Vita Yoshu asked the 3 angry girls. The
4 teens were at Vita's mansion in Tokyo, Japan, ready to take over the city... if only they
knew where the jewels were...
" The rare jewels & gems are found in 3 diffrent locations." Vita said as Sunshine
was frantically looking for the jewels on her computer. " The Chrysophrase/Kunzite
Jewel, Garnet/Amethyst Jewel & Topaz/Carnelian Jewel."
"Wait." Shei said, confused. " Are they like 6 gems out in Japan, or..."
"2 gems together to form 1!" Sunshine said. " Now that is odd, isn't it?"
Ericka bobbed her head yes.
" I'm still confused." Shei said, dozed off.
" Which is why you are 17.5 years old..." Sunshine started...
" 17 1/2." Erica joked to Shei.
"I'm not that dumb!" Shei blasted to Ericka with a tack on her head.
"Okay!" Ericka said with a big sweat down her face. " Take it easy!"
"Which is why you are 17.5 years old & still in the 11th grade!" Sunshine tried to
finished, but Shei & Ericka were busy fighting. Vita & Sunshine stared in horror as the 2
foes snapped at eachother.
" SHUT UP, YOU IDIOTS!!!" Vita yelled, & immediately the 2 of them stopped.
Shei dropped Ericka & stared at Vita with an evil look. " I still don't see why Ericka is
your favorite."
" Oh, I have my ways..." Vita said. " & speaking of the 11th grade, we all have spy
time at diffrent schools. Sunshine starts off 1st. The last signal from the Topaz/Carnelian
Jewel was at Grass Valley Junior High."
" I'm on it!" Sunshine yelled. " Detective Sunshine is on the case!"
" Wrong show!" Vita said, laughing as Sunshine put on a school uniform & took
off.
" I'll be back." Minako said to Artemis as she grabbed her new volleyball. " I
have to meet Rei & Makoto after volleyball practice."
" Huh?" Artemis asked. " I thought you quit."
" Yeah, but it has been a little quieter than usual, & I thought, 'what the heck!' "
" Yeah, I suppose so..." Artemis said, stretching on Minako's bed. " Umm...
Ami said she would be here soon for study group with Usagi & Rini."
" Oh my gosh, I totally forgot it was here today, it's Wednesday!" Minako
screamed as she ran out the door.
While she was running towards the school, she ran into Sunshine.
" Do I know you?' Minako said, staring at Sunshine with deep concern.
" I'm new." Sunshine said. " By the way, I'm ahh...Laquoya!'
" Never heard, but welcome to Grass Valley High, Laquoya!"
" Hey, what are you doing here?"
" Volleyball. You?"
" Ummm..... checking on the school. I thought you quit volleyball..."
Sunshine gasped & clapped her hands over her mouth.
" Laquoya?" Mina asked. " How did you... ARTEMIS!!! You
are so busted!" She ran towards her house.
" Who's Artemis?" Sunshine asked herself, & walked to the school.
" Artemis?" Mina yelled, almost bust her door open. " Why did you
tell everyone that I used to quit volleyball?"
" I can't." Artemis said." I'm a cat."
"Oh..." Mina said. " Then what was Laquoya talking about?"
" Who is Laquoya?" he asked.
" A new kid at school wanting to check things out."
" Who is this Kaguya you are talking about, Minako?" Rei asked.
" Her name is Laquoya!" Minako said. " & I think this 'Laquoya' was spying
on me."
