Comparisons are easily done once you've had a taste of perfection

She had long known about me and her.
Why was still I reluctant to let Kagome go?
I had missed her.
I missed her like crazy.
"Inuyasha? I'm talking to you." Kikyo waved her hand at me, trying to get my attention as I finally got out of my trance. "Are you OK? You seemed distracted."
"I-I'm just a little sick…"

I guess second best is all I will know

She was the sweetest and the silliest girl I ever met.
"Move on without me." She smiled; her tears fell from her eyes as she spoke. This wasn't her. "What you mean? Aren't we alright together?"
She had looked at me, smiling continuously as her tears continued to drop as she hiccupped. "You fell in love with someone else isn't it?" She hiccupped as she spoke, still smiling.

So the waters I will test
I tried to be with the girl I like when I was with Kagome.
But still, it didn't work.
And I continued to wait for another few days to pass by.
As I watched the day go by, I thought of Kagome again.

I had found her at the street corner where we first met each other.

"I had broken up with Kikyo. I just can't stop thinking about you even when I was with her." I gulped, looking at the ground as I waited for her reply. "Silly boy…" She mumbled, sounding as if she's crying.
"I had waited for you so long!"
She ran towards me, hugging me as we both land on the floor, looking at each other laughing happily.
"I love you, Inuyasha."
