There was a flash of light and then silence.

Sam and Dean stood side by side in the stillness. There was nothing left. God had destroyed it all. They should have felt hallow, but really all they felt was peace. That is when the heard the voice. It was soft like a mother singing a lullaby. It was worm like a father saying well done. "My children you have done well." There was a man standing in front of them. He was not striking. In fact he could have easily blended in to the crowd. He was dressed simply in black linen pants, and a white button down. He had no shoes on his feet, and he was walking toward them. He smiled and took each of them in his arms. The two men had never felt so alive. "Of course my child you can have anything you want." Sam and Dean look at each other. "If you know who I am then you also know how I know these things. I agree you need rest, and you shall have it."

The barren land around them started to change. Lush green grass grew under there feet. Trees started to grow. Clouds formed in the sky. Soon there was the sound of insects, and when the men looked up birds winged their way through the air. They could hear the sounds of other animals.

"My children, it is now the time for a thousand years of peace. You and many other brave souls like you shall join me in this great new world. Evil has not entered here, and you will find rest. Go in peace." With a wave of his hand a cabin appeared and he was gone, but they could still see the new world forming around them.
