It's been years now—a lifetime, in fact. She has lived through an entire life, watching and aiding as David rebuilt what is the earth today, and has come through young a and beautiful again. But, what for? The love of her life is gone, having lived for seventy-six years (quite a short time compared to someone who can live for centuries) while she lived on, until finally her weakened hearts gave out to the sadness of being alone.

In the moment of her transformation she had, with the slightest inkling of her mind, had decided what she wanted to look like. She had kept her dark hair; though this time decided to have it set at shoulder length, though slightly more brown this time. Her face, she kept quite the same too, though she had decided to start out a little bit older than last time (about mid-thirties). Through experience she found that older-looking people were more respected than younger ones. That and to avoid all the emotions and confusions of a young mind. Living through that, once was more than enough for ten life times. All of this resulted in a taller, curvier woman, who was young enough to move about, but old enough to be taken seriously.

Other than that, all of her tastes were the same. (Why would she change that? She loved her tastes), though in the end, mostly due to having experienced a lot through her life, her personality sort of mellowed out.

It did not matter, for the moment she came fully to her senses she had regretted it completely for she thought it better if she just would have died with David and gone with him wherever people go when they died–heaven, she was sure they call it–though at the same time a part of her, imperceptible to her own mind, wanted to live on and one day find her grandfather.
