Rachel Berry was sitting in her room, on her laptop after regionals, her dress lying over a chair. Her hair in wet braids, she was wearing shorts and a tank top. Even though
New directions lost at regional's she was kind of happy, Finn told her he loved her, and Quinn had her baby. Sure her real mom didn't want to be her mom, but she would adopt another baby. She honestly didn't care because she had been without a mother all her life, she really didn't need one now. But anyway, Rachel looked at her laptop at their regional's performance. She asked her dads to record it for her since all of her performances were on archive in their family's library. She was wondering why they had lost, they were flawless, totally perfection, not a note out of place or a note sharp. Everyone was perfect pitch, perfect moves well except Finn, but that's ok because he's Finn. Rachel smiled thinking about Finn, his cute boyish smile, and the way her hearts start beating fast when ever she looks at him or thinks about him, and especially sings with him. She loves him and not like a creepy obsessive love, a real love. Suddenly Rachel's phone rang, it was a text from Finn 'Look out your window' She smiled, and placed her laptop on her bed off her lap. She got off her bed, and walked over to her window, and Finn was standing there smiling, Rachel opened the window
"What are you doing here?" She asked smiling, he smirked his cute little smirk
"Hold on I'll be right up" he said it was a good thing Rachel had a build on ladder on her house that led to her room, Finn put his phone away, and climbed the ladder. Once he got to the top he climbed into her room, and pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek.
"Now what are you doing here, it's almost midnight." Rachel asked, closing her laptop so Finn wouldn't see that she was analyzing their performance,
"I wanted to help you analyze our performance." He said smiling, Rachel was surprised
"How did you….." She asked, Finn chuckled, and said
"I know you Rachel, so can I help? " He asked, she nodded and leaned over to open her laptop again, Finn sat down on her bed and laid back against her headboard, he was really tired and hoped he didn't fall asleep. He was still wearing is suit and tie because after the competition he went back to the hospital, to see Quinn and the baby, and he stayed there to patch thing up with Puck. He had to do it before he could try it with Rachel. Saying I love you was the first step the second was closer.
"See, we were flawless and we had the heart. VA shouldn't of won we should have. Glee club is over and there is nothing we can do about it." Rachel said, he could hear her choking up. Glee was her whole life, its what she lived for.
"It's going to be ok Rach I promise. Come here" He said puling her on the bed and next to him sp he could but his arms around her. She breathed in his sent, as he smelled her hair, strawberries.
"But how do you know! It's going to be slushy facials, everyday now. I going to have to start bring extra clothes to school again, your going to go back to Quinn. I'll be a friendless loser all thanks to Coach S." She said, the tears pouring out, on to his gold tie, tears streaming down her face
"That's not going to happen, because I wouldn't be here if it was. I meant what I said I really do love you Rachel Berry for ever and always." He said, she looked at him and smiled.
"I know I didn't say it before, but I love you too." She said, then he kissed her forehead. Then they both fell aslepp.
