Fanfiction of July eighteen, and the last one I need to post for fanfiction of July! I know, ironic, huh?

……….

"Hey, what do you want?" Jinta asked the strange man in front of him and Urahara Shoten.

"I hear that a man named Kisuke Urahara lives here. Blonde hair, he should be a little taller tan I am now, any idea if he is here?"

"Boss? Suuure…" Jinta said, apprehensive. "Hey, Boss!" he yelled towards the shop.

After a few minutes, Kisuke finally got up and headed outside. "Someone here, Jinta?" he asked, wiping the sleepy away from his eyes.

"Kisuke? Is that really you?" Akon asked.

"Hmm? Yes, I am Kisuke Urahara. And you are?"

"What, you really don't recognize me? It must be the horns…"

"That hair…that voice…you wouldn't happen to be Akon, would you?"

"Yes."

"Wow, I must say, in the years since I've seen you, you've gotten…big…"

"Well, yes, I have. Would you happen to have the time to talk?"

"Sure, come in." Kisuke said, leading Akon inside. "Would you like a cup of tea?"

"Hmm? Oh, yes I would," Akon said, nervously looking around as he sat down. A few minutes later, a short, black-haired girl with pigtails brought in a tray, in which she carried over her head.

"Ururu," Kisuke introduced, "This is Akon. He was my apprentice years ago."

"Hello, Akon-sama," Ururu said politely.

"Oh, you don't have too…"

"Don't worry about it," Kisuke reassured, "It's just how she was raised; please go along with it if you do like it, and ignore it if you don't like it."

"Oh," Akon sighed again, distracted.

"Is something wrong, Akon-kun?" Kisuke asked after taking a sip of his tea.

"Why did you leave us?! I knew you were innocent; you could've stayed!" Akon outburst, close to tears.

"Akon? W-what's wrong? Kisuke asked, raising and eyebrow.

"I mean, you left us without wa-arning!" Akon cried.

"There, there, Akon," Kisuke said, hugging Akon around his shoulders, hooking his arm over his neck. "I know it must've hurt…"

"But I didn't just miss you, you were my…my…"

"First crush?" Kisuke asked, raising his eyebrow again. Akon nodded solemnly.

"Well, then I'm sorry for what I did. Tell the others that too," Kisuke suggested. Akon nodded solemnly again. Leaning in, Kisuke gave Akon a reassuring kiss, who then gladly accepted it and returned it.

"I still love you, Kisuke-sama."

"And I always loved you, Akon-kun…" Kisuke whispered, as he continued to kiss Akon. Meanwhile, Ururu smiled from around a corner.

……….

(A)—Akon is the researcher with the horns who works for Twelfth Division (building gigai's…I think…)

(B)—Yes, he was around when Kisuke was around (for those who read the "Pendulum" chapters

(C)--, yes cheesy romance. This was never intended to be a yaoi, but what can I say? I can't keep away :) :)

(D)—wow, goes really fast when you read it, but not when you're typing it up…
