In Your Eyes
Jacob had had time to count his loses.
He prepared himself for it.
Prepared himself to miss those blushing cheeks, those clumsy moments that made him feel needed, and those eyes.
Those beautiful chocolate tinted eyes.
He knew he would miss those the most.
But now, so many years later, years after the change and the imprint and the battle, he would wake up to those exact same eyes staring right back into his own.
Except this time he could actually feel the love in their warm depths.
And then, quite frankly, he didn't miss the old ones at all.
