Chapter One-Snolout The Betrayer
"Are you sure?" The boy asked the other as the two headed through the beach, "You better not be lying to me, Snotlout,"
"Why would I lie?" He asked with a bit of a smart tone, "Hiccup," The smaller boy rolled his eyes.
"Show me the dragon and let's get back to the village," Hiccup said as he looked around. Snotlout lead the way. Soon they reached the beach, but nothing was there. Hiccup turned to look at Snotlout, "So where's the dragon?"
"There wasn't no dragon to begin with," A voice said from behind Hiccup. The boy glared at Snotlout and then turned.
"Oh look. It's Alvin. Can I guess why you're here?" The other Viking smirked.
"You shouldn't have to guess," As Hiccup was surrounded, he sighed.
"Snotlout," He turned as his so called friend watched from behind the group of Outcast, "You should feel ashamed," And that's how it started. His destiny and mine were going to collide. Dad wasn't going to be very happy either.
I shivered as I placed my spoon in the bowl. I was not going to eat anymore. The excitement of my father bringing home the dragon trainer was getting me all excited. My mother saw and sighed. She knew how much I wanted father to notice me, to accept me. It was a stupid hope, but maybe I could watch over the prisoner to give father a break. I heard yelling of the boat coming in, so I waved bye and headed outside.
"Monica! What are you doing?" A guard stops by me and I look at him.
"I want to speak to dad," I answered as I looked down toward the docks. From where I was, I could see the boy struggling and glaring at my father. He wasn't too tough looking at all.
"About what Missy?" He asked.
"Bud!" I complained, "Do we have to go through this every time?"
"Monica," My eyes widened as I looked up. During the time I was whining, my father had walked up, "Hurry up and tell me what you want. I have to deal with Stoick's son," I nod.
"I know! That's what this is about!" The boy looked at me and then looked away, "I want to help you! Let me watch over him for you!" My father laughed and his men laughed with him. Curse you Bud.
"That's funny. A girl watching over the dragon conquer,"
"It's trainer. I'm not really a conquer," The boy spoke up and my father glared at him,
"Shut up," He glared back. Wow that kid was brave.
"I can do it!" I said, "Trust me for once," He rolled his eyes.
"How do I know that he won't try to get close to you so he can escape," He retorted. I crossed my arms.
"Because I won't allow him to; I'm not interested. Please father?" I asked and the boy looked surprised. Alvin the Treacherous sighed.
"Fine Monica; if he escapes it's on you," I nod, "Get whatever you need and head to the dungeon. When you go to eat, someone else will guard him in your place. You will also bring him food or take him with you, tied up of course," I nod again and slightly smiled.
"Thanks!" My father frowned at me as he pushed the boy forward,
"Don't make me regret this," I went back inside to get what I need.
"You won't!"
Oh Gosh. I actually started this. I've had three ideas for an OcXHiccup story and this one was the one I chose to write. Hope you enjoyed it.
It's based off Dragons Riders of Berk more than the movie and the books[I haven't read them yet].
