Winter in Sunnyshore
Pokemon fanfic, this one is a little strange, but there are MUCH weirder ones I have read. Anyways, in this one Wally's Gardevoir is in love with Brendan, but it just wont work out. Why? Duh, their human and Pokemon. But, somehow it could. Read it!
-Chapter 1-
Brendan had just become champ of the Hoenn region, and needed a vacation. He jumped out of his plush bed and hopped on his computer, and pulled up the world map. There was Kanto, Johto, and his home region, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova.
" Sinnoh has a sunny place, right? That'd be nice." He said and grabbed his bag and got his clothes on. An orange and black jacket, black pants, with black shorts over them, and his white and green knit-hat over his slick black hair. The teen boy ran out his door, and grabbed a piece of toast off the counter and ran out of the house.
Brendan's green-haired friend, Wally, just came into town. He was walking with his starter Pokemon, Gardevoir. The Pokemon looked around, and saw Brendan, and blushed. He spotted Wally and ran over.
" Wally! How's it going? And you too Gardevoir, how've you been?" Brendan asked.
" Good," Wally replied, " I've gotten way stronger than before."
" I'm good…" Gardevoir said quietly (forgot to say, Pokemon talk in this fanfic) " I've gained a few levels"
Brendan nodded and challenged Wally to a battle
" Let's do a one on one battle, choose your Pokemon!" Brendan said.
" Alright! I choose you Magnezone!" Wally yelled and threw a Pokeball.
A Magnezone that looked very strong came out, and Brendan smiled and threw his Pokeball. And a Flygon came out of it. The battle has begun. Magnezone started with a Take Down, and Flygon a Dragon Rush. The two Pokemon crashed with brute force, and both fell to the ground. Flygon was the first to get up, and used Mud Shot.
" Hah! Take that Magnezone!" Flygon yelled out and got a Dragon Claw ready. But Magnezone was faster and launched a Magnet Bomb attack right for his head.
Flygon has fainted.
" Dangit, your good Wally." Brendan said, gave Flygon a Sitrus Berry, and returned him to his Pokeball.
" Thanks, we better catch that boat to Sunnyshore."
" Oh, you're coming too?"
" Yep. Me and the team could use the vacation."
The two friends nodded and ran on the boat. After getting settled in, Brendan hopped on his bed. He heard a knock on the door, and Gardevoir came in. She pulled a chair over and started talking.
" Brendan, I have, um, a small question…"
" What is it?"
" I um, well, would it be okay for a Pokemon to love a human?"
Brendan blinked and said, " Of coarse, I love all my Pokemon"
" No like, the other kind… you know what I mean"
" Oh. Um, sure I guess, well I don't know. I mean, I don't see why not, we technically are the same, just with different appearences. Who's this about?"
Gardevoir blushed. " Well, I've been in love with this human for a long time… but I can't tell him, it would be complicated…"
Brendan grabbed her hands and looked into her deep, red eyes.
" Gardevoir. You should just tell him. I'll help you even" Brendan said and smiled.
" You can't really help me with telling him, though"
" Why not?'
" Because… because I'm in love, with you" she said, putting her arms around him and kissed him.
Brendan stared for a moment, but eventually kissed her back.
