"Koga's Earth Angel"
Koga was staring up at the moon that evening while the rest of his comrads slept. Stars glistened in the sky and the moonlight bathed him in it's glory. As he stared up at the pure white nightly orb, the image of one person seemed to appear in it's center.
Kagome... The woman he loved.
Kagome was traveling with that stupid mutt, Inuyasha. It was clear that he did not love her. After all, just look at the way he treated her. He was always calling her stupid, always fighting with her, and whenever that Kikyo woman would show up, Inuyasha would drop whatever he was doing to go and get her -- even if it meant leaving Kagome in a dangerous situation. If she were Koga's woman, that would never happen. Koga would protect her with his very own life -- that was how much he loved her.
That evening, Koga had ordered his comrads to set up camp in a cave... that was inbedded in a cliff, which loomed over Inuyasha's campsite. Maybe he was just overprotective, but Koga felt the need to follow them pretty much everywhere. He wanted to protect Kagome in the worst way, just in case Inuyasha was to mess up. That particular evening, Koga was up on the very edge of the cliff, looking down at the group while they slept. The entire party was sleeping, but Kagome's sleeping bag was empty. Maybe she had gone to the bathroom in the bushes, Koga thought.
For a moment, Koga looked back up at the moon. Once again, he could see the image of Kagome's smiling face. He sighed. "Oh, my sweet Kagome... I wish would could see what's in my heart." He was so overwhelmed with emotion that he just wanted to... sing! (Wolves bay at the moon all the time, so why shouldn't Koga sing at it?)

"Oh, Koga! That was beautiful!
Koga whirled around to bark at the person behind him. If it was one of his comrads, he would berate them for spying on him. Instead, he was someone else that he did not expect. "Ka... Kagome? How long were you standing there?"
She smiled. "Long enough to hear you sing... Is that really how you feel?"
Koga looked away for a moment. "Of course it is... It's why I've been following you everywhere and keeping an eye on you."
She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head on his chest. He blushed feuriously. She looked up at him and laughed at his reaction. "Koga... I love you, too."
"What?" His eyes widened. "You mean... You don't love Inuyasha?"
She shook her head. "I thought I did... But he's to wrapped up in worrying about Kikyo to care about anyone else." She propped herself up on her tip-toes and kissed Koga on the lips. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment, smiling through the kiss and wrapping his arms around her. When their kiss ended, he took her hand and got down on one knee. "Kagome, will you be mine?"
She nodded. "Yes... Yes I will!"
Koga stood up again and hugged her tight. Nothing could ruin this moment now, or any other moment that was to come. No matter where she was, no matter who she was traveling with, she would always belong to him.
Kagome... his earth angel.
