Why am I writing this when I still have two other things I'm writing? I'll never know. I'm going to warn everyone now, this fanfic has some religious elements. If you are offended by it then please don't read it, and by some I mean quite a bit. I haven't really planned this one out, but at least I have an idea of the basic plot. This is a short prologue, so the real story won't start until chapter 2, which I haven't even thought about that much. Yay for under planning!
Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts. (Even though I would love to have at least 5% of it's profits. I would be rich!)
Seven sins. Seven evil entities.
Beelzebub's gift, the sin of Gula,. A gluttonous appetite.
Asmodeus' gift, the sin of Luxuria. A tornado of lustful desires.
Lucifer's gift, the sin of Superbia. A Smothering feeling of narcissism.
Amon's gift, the sin of Ira. The wrath that can destroy all.
Leviathan's gift, the sin of Invidia. Envy of insatiable desires.
Belphegor's gift, the sin of Acedia. The overwhelming feeling of sloth.
Mammon's gift, the sin of Avaritia. The greed that gave birth to all the sins, and by far the deadliest.
Each sin capable of death on large scales. Humanity was partially aware of the danger these existences posed. Then came the seven Virtues. Seven heavenly existences that could counteract the sins, and save Man from destroying himself.
That restrains Gula, Temerantia.
That which cleanses Luxuria, Castitas.
That which is always modest, despite Superbia's temptation, Humilitas.
That which brings peace to Ira, Patientia.
That which brings satisfaction to Invidia, Humanitas.
That which Sloth cannot keep up with, Industria.
That which purifies Avaritia, Caritas.
As long as all fourteen of these beings exist, the world will be balanced, and the world can continue to thrive, however, Man wanted perfection. He wanted to do away with the Vices and obtain a Utopia. He lusted for the Utopia. He justified his greed with the Utopia. He wanted to sloth in his Utopia. He took pride in his Utopia. He killed for his Utopia. His Utopia was not truly a Utopia.
Okay that was a REALLY short prologue. Don't worry I'm going to try to give the chapters a 3,000 word minimum. Am I forgiven? By the way reviews inspire me to write faster. =)
