OK hi so here goes nothing.

Rose
I was left at a park in Suna by my father so that he can do his boring business stuff. I saw kids my age playing ball and one kid on a swing all alone. He looked lonely so I walked over to him as I approached I saw him retrieve the ball by using sand. While I thought that was pretty awesome the other kids freaked out and ran away. I sensed something was going to happen thou not sure what so I ran up to him and asked if he was ok. He was frozen with shock so I took this time to get a good look at him. He has red shaggy hair, sea foam green eyes surrounded with black rings. He was strangely pale for someone who lived in the desert. He was wearing a white shirt and tan pants. He reminded me of a panda really. I saw that he was still in shock so I asked if he wanted to play with me. He shook off his shock and shyly said yes with a blush.
"I'm Rain Azua by the way" I said.
"G-Gaara" he stuttered.
"Gaara huh that's a nice name. Let's play tag" I said with a smile.
"H-How do you play that?" he asked.
"Its easy I'll show you," I encouraged.
We played for hours at the park and only leaving because it got dark.
"Rai-chan will you come back here tomorrow?" he asked hopefully.
"I'm sorry panda-kun but I have to leave with my father tomorrow." I replied sadly.
"Why?!"
"I have to go home gaara, I'm sorry but I have to."
"Can I at least see you off to the gate?" He asked sadly.
"Of course you can panda-kun I was hoping you would." I said.
Next day at gate
When my father and I got to the gate I saw gaara and ran over to him hugging him closely. I didn't want to go he was my first friend and I don't know when we will next see each other. Thinking it over I decided to give him something so that he can't forget me.
"Panda-kun I want you to have this," I say as I take the blue rose from my hair and hand it out to him.
"Rai-chan I can't take that." He said.
"Yes you can I don't want you to forget me," I pleaded with him.
"Ok Rai-chan but I could never forget you," he sighed as he took the flower in one hand.
I watched in fascination as sand started to gather in his other hand and slowly formed into a copy of the rose.
"Here Rai-chan now you can't forget me either," he said as he shyly held out the sand rose.
I gently take the rose and put it in my hair and gave gaara a watery smile.
"I'll always ware it Panda-kun," I swore.
"It's time to go child," my father said.
I nodded my head then slowly walked back over to him and went through the gate without looking back for fear of crying.
