These elves sure are strange folk
for they took away Sam and Fro,
To a mirror pressed in the ground
told them to see what can be found.
Sam saw the scouring of the Shire
Fro I'm not sure what he saw
for he moved too much to the right
and the mirror then was out of my sight.
For I was looking over his shoulder
hiding in the trees,
"Just in case" I told myself
"They might come looking for me."
For Strider he told me a story
about a boy like me
who was exactly my size
and hungry all the time,
Whom the Elves took far away
never to be seen again,
some say he's still alive
but others say he's dead.
I think he did it just to scare
but one can never be too safe,
so thats why I'm looking on to there
from a secure hiding place.
The Elf just turned in to a monster
and Frodo just cried
Sam I'm not sure where he's gone
but he missed a jolly good time.
