It is my personal opinion that there is simply not enough of these two floating around. I shall henceforth attempt to remedy this situation.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Doctor Who would be nowhere near as good if I owned it.
Malarkey
"I do not understand this Easter malarkey," the Doctor groused. "It's supposed to commemorate an event, and yet the date changes."
"Oh, Doctor," Jo sighed. "It's a nice festival. And anyway, most people are only interested in the chocolate nowadays. Including me." This last remark was given particular emphasis.
The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Alright," he relented. "We'll go and buy you some chocolate."
He opened the doors and exited the TARDIS, Jo bouncing happily in his wake.
Pecunious – rich (of quality)
"Did you see his jacket?"
"Yes, very high quality."
"He struck me as quite pecunious."
"But what about that girl he has with him? She does not belong in his set at all."
The Doctor quietly seethed on Jo's behalf.
Mulleted
Now distinctly bedraggled, the travelling companions looked at each other.
"Yes, well, sorry how that turned out," the Doctor said.
"That's alright," Jo replied. "Did you see that man's hair? It was pretty obvious he was going to turn out to be bad."
"Mulleted."
"I'd have 'mulleted' him if he kept going on like that."
Blackjack
"Doctor, what are they doing?"
"It's called blackjack, Jo."
"It looks terribly confusing."
"Probably best if you leave me to it, my dear."
Seism – earthquake or tremor
The trembling had finally stopped. It had to be a substantial seism to shake the TARDIS like that. An earthquake with that much power could not be of natural origin.
"Come along, Jo. Looks like trouble."
