A TEA-RRIFIC CONFESSION

It was a cold Saturday evening, Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura decided to go to a local playground and sit on the swings. For Sakura it was just a normal, friendly date with Sasuke, but for Sasuke it was the other way around. It was time to put his plan into action.

Should I tell her or tell her not? Sasuke thought.

What if she rejects me? Man this is much harder than training a jutsu. OK here I go, you can do this Sasuke!

Sasuke looks at Sakura but Sakura is looking at the night sky.

"Hey, let's stop seeing each other as…friends." Sasuke said.

"I love you, will you be my girlfriend?"

Sakura looks at Sasuke and pulls out something from her ear, an earphone and then she said, "Huh? Did you say something?"

What? She didn't hear a single word I said? It took me a lot of courage to say that. Sasuke said to himself.

Sakura waves her hand at his face, "Hey, were you saying something just a while ago?" Sakura said.

"U-Uhmm…. Would you like Green or Oolong tea?" Sasuke finally said.

"Huh? Why are you asking this all of a sudden?" Sakura replied.

"B-Because it's so cold out here and I think this is the best time to have tea. So do you want some? We can have it at my place, don't worry I'll walk you home after our tea session." Sasuke said.

So Sakura with a nod and a smile on her face says, "OK!"

They stand up, leave the playground and go to Sasuke's place which was just a few walks away from the playground. Upon arriving at Sasuke's home, Sasuke goes to the kitchen and prepares both Green and Oolong tea. He then comes out of the kitchen with two cups of tea in hand; he gives the cup of Oolong tea to Sakura. He then sits beside Sakura on the couch.

Sakura takes a sip of the tea, Sasuke is looking at her.

"How's the tea?" Sasuke asks.

"It's great, very Delicious!" Sakura answers.

Sasuke smiling says, "I'm glad you liked it." And he takes a sip of his tea.

"Of course I like it, my BOYFRIEND made it for me." Sakura says with a smile.

Sasuke in surprise almost spits out his tea. Then he replies "W-What d-did you just say?"

"I said that I love this tea since my boyfriend made it for me." Sakura answers.

"W-What do you mean boyfriend? Are you referring to me?" Sasuke still confused.

"Well weren't you the one who made the tea? And didn't you confess to me earlier at the playground?" Sakura says.

"I thought you were listening to your MP3 player?" Sasuke replies.

"Hey, I never said that the music was on." Sakura replies with a tease.

"So you heard every word I said?" Sasuke replies with a making sure tone.

"Yup! Every word." Sakura answers, again with a teasing tone.

"And you're saying that you're answer is YES?" Sasuke still making sure.

Sakura gives a huge nod and smiles.

"So if you heard everything, why did you pretend that you didn't hear anything?" Sasuke curious.

"Oh. I just thought you were so cute back there that I decided to force you to say it again. I didn't expect we would end up drinking tea." Sakura says.

"Well if you ask me I like this moment better." Sasuke says smiling and looking at Sakura.

Sakura replies with a smile, "So do I, boyfriend."

With that they smile and laugh at each other. It was truly a TEA-rrific confession.
