A cute Ron and Hermione drabble!

"Damn dishes" Ron mumbled to himself. It was just after dinner at the Burrow. Mrs. Weasley volunteered Ron and Hermione to clear the table. Everyone had already headed upstairs. Ron tried to get the new splash of suds off his shirt while Hermione brought over a new stack of plates. "You're not supposed to add the whole bottle of dish soap Ron." Hermione said to Ron as she put the pile of plates in the sudsy sink. It was the summer after their sixth year and they were all preparing to find the horcruxes after Fleur and Bills' wedding. Ron was excited to go. He didn't want Hermione to go though. He didn't want her to get hurt. He couldn't live if she got killed. He had secretly liked Hermione since they met on the train going to Hogwarts first year. What Ron didn't know is that Hermione felt the same way. They were just too chicken to say it. Hermione reached for the dish towel when her hand met Ron's. They both pulled back, instantly becoming awkward and embarrassed. "So do you want some help because I'm done with the table?" Hermione asked. "No. go ahead to bed. I'll finish." Ron replied. Hermione headed towards the stairs, but when she reached them she stopped. "Ron…" she said. "Yeah?" Ron asked. "Are we gonna die fighting Voldemort?" she asked with a slight sob. Ron ran to her side and hugged her. "I don't know, but I do know one thing." Ron said. "W-what's that?" Hermione asked through her tears. "Look I know that we have been fighting a lot but, I-I love you. I have ever since we started school. And I know that if anything were to happen to you I'd go crazy. I didn't want to fight Voldemort and have the chance that one of us dies. I love you Hermione. I always have." Ron said. Hermione was amazed. "I love you too Ron and I always have." Hermione replied. And with that they seemed to be pulled together by a magnetic force. Just in the middle of the kiss they heard a huge crash in the yard and all they saw were death eaters charging towards the Burrow.
