Danny Phantom/Harry Potter
Post PP (?). Post Deathly Hallows
(This story is based off a story by Corona Ignis named "Cleaning Up", a DP/HP crossover featuring Clockwork and Kingsley Shacklebolt. Corona gave me permission to use this, so I am using it).
Clockwork, the Master of Time, looked through his screen at Harry Potter, the Auror who had managed to survive great hardships in his childhood, defeat a Dark Wizard who had been a scourge on the Earth for far too long, and find love. As Clockwork watched him send his own children off to Hogwarts (the epilogue to the 7th book), he smiled at the image of the past, and then turned his attention to the dented thermos on a shielded pedestal.
"Dan, you know full well that Danny has chosen his path, saved the worlds you would have laid waste too, and will never become you now, so why do persist in your attempts to escape?" the ghost of Time asked. "If not for your existence being outside of time, you would have ceased to exist the moment he gained your Ghostly Wail."
"I know that!" The Ultimate Enemy screamed from within his metallic prison. "Now my purpose is to destroy him for imprisoning me here, now that I no longer need him to survive! I will not be stopped again!"
"But you will not escape," Clockwork said firmly. "Danny has made his choice, and the only reason you are still here is because you are a walking temporal glitch. I will keep you in there forever."
And with that, Clockwork hovered off, having been summoned by the Observant High Council.
"That's what you think," Dan muttered to himself, his plan for escape clear in his mind…
