Best In Show
It was a cold day in London of 2013. We were attending a rehearsal of Jesus Christ Superstar. Everything was going swimmingly well except for one thing, Melanie was pregnant. She was dressed in the signature Mary Magdalene costume. She wore a feathered wig with dreads. She also wore a white dress as a bump poked out. She was showing she was pregnant. She also had a leather jacket and black boots and a green over the shoulder bag.
"Aunt Mel are you alright?" I asked.
"Just knackered Angel, the heat from the stage lights are bothering me." She replied. Suddenly her hand went to her belly. She rubbed it gently and smiled. It was obvious what was going on. The baby was kicking. I looked at her sweetly.
"The baby is kicking do you wanna feel Angel?" She asked.
"Yeah, can I?" I asked. She grabbed my hand gently. Slowly she placed it on her stomach. Suddenly I felt a small kick against my hand. My new cousin had a strong kick. I was overwhelmed with happiness.
"Awe its got such a strong kick." I said.
"I know just like Scarlet did." She said happily.
"So how did Scarlet take the news?" I asked
"She's looking forward to being a big sister." She said
