Tears To Shed:
Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom. Or the Corpse Bride song, Tears to Shed, which I used one part for this story.
Note: I have absolutly no clue as to how Skulker is gonna come back but...he's back in this story.

Danny woke up feeling pain in his stomach. He rolled over trying to stop himself from gagging and throwing up the remainder of his light dinner before Skulker spolied it. He had ran out to fight him only to see that he upgraded, once again, to something that he thought could defeat Danny. Danny proved him wrong but at a huge price. He had gotten impaled in the stomach in his ghost mode and he had hit his head on the pavement before flying off to his house at three in the morning. Danny weakly stood up and went to change the bandage on his stomach. He then got dressed and went downstairs quietly since no one would be up yet.
'Six o'clock on a Saturday morning and I'm the only one awake. Figures. I had three hours of sleep and I'm wide awake.' He thought walking through the living room. He couldn't turn on the TV for fear of walking someone up. So he sat down at the piano and opened the lid. He hit one key and it loudly echoed throughout the house. He winced and he used his ghost hearing to hear if anyone got up. When all was safe Danny started to lightly hit the keys and made up little songs. He quickly got bored and put his elbows on his knees. He then started to look through the stuff on the desk next to him. There were papers for Jazz from colleges, his parents notes, pictures, detention notices from Principal Ishyama, and other papers. Danny paused when he saw some piano lyrics. He picked them up. the only one who knew how to play was Jazz, sure he could play but not as well as she could, so they had to be hers. He looked at the title, Tears To Shed by Danny Elfman, from the Corpse Bride. Danny never saw the movie but as he read the notes he saw that it was easy to play. He started to quietly play the first verse and started to get wrapped up in the song. When he got to the part where Emily started to sing he paid more attention to what was he was reading.
If I touch a burning candle, I can feel no pain
Danny thought about that. As a ghost Danny has had close encounters with fire. And it never hurt until he changed back.
If you cut me with a knife it's still the same
That held some truth too. Danny got cut with things that Valerie had thrown at him before but they never seemed to hurt until he went to school the next day.
And I know her heart is beating
He knew that he was a ghost, and that ghosts were dead, but he was still alive.
and I know that I am dead
But, was he really all alive? He shook his head, his parents told him it was impossible to be half and half. Half dead and half alive. But he was. He was both. But how?
But the pain here that I feel
It hurt a lot to think that he was really stuck in two worlds. That he didn't belong anywhere. In the Ghost Zone or in Amity Park.
Try and tell me it's not real
Danny still thought that he would wake up one day from this and he would be normal.
and its seems that I still have a tear to shed.
As Danny played the final chord of the song a tear fell from his eye and he quickly wiped it away. He then got up and decided to go start a pot of coffee and get some breakfast before his parents and Jazz woke up.
