I can't believe more people haven't written about this scene. Since I can't decide between Kono being with Steve or Danny, I'm doing this first chapter with Kono & Steve the next will be Kono & Danny take on the question.
What are you two dating now?
Kono walks into Steve's office after the case. "Thank you for not saying anything back to Danny. You know that would only have made it worse for us."
"Hell you should thank me for not laughing instead."
She walks over to him as he sits behind his desk. "Oh what is it so unreasonable that we could be dating?"
He knew better than to walk into that trap. "No honey it's just so funny since that is exactly what we are doing."
"Oh I didn't know one date already classified me as someone you were dating."
"Kono I can't help if that said detective is always around getting in the way of my plans to ask you on more dates."
"Mr. Garrett I think you know all the right things to tell a girl."
"Well I hope that's not the only reason your going to date me."
"Oh, no it's not the only reason. I believe this may be the reason …. (she leads in to kiss him).
"That my dear is a very good reason."
