Neville couldn't sleep. He just... wasn't tired? And so he was flipping through pages of The Daily Prophet under his blankets with his wand. God... everything was so dark these days.

... Another batch couldn't handle the circumstances. They committed suicide. They killed themselves.

This was just all so wrong, so wrong!

His breathing speeds up, and his thoughts spin around. So wrong! This should NOT be happening! What if it's one of my friends who gets sick of life next? What if it's somebody in this room who's next? What if?

Adrenaline raced through Neville, and his vision fogged up a bit. It felt like somebody was choking him.

He sat up quickly, scanned the room briefly to see if his dormmates were sleeping or not. Breath heavier, he rolled out of his bed, and snagged Harry's invisibility cloak from where it was lying on top of his trunk. He wouldn't notice anyway; Neville had taken it for the night a few times.

Filch seemed to shift a bit when Neville pretty much flew past him outside the castle. Get to the greenhouses. Get to the greenhouses. Get to the greenhouses. And the night was obsidian black and moon was hiding itself, but he had to get to the greenhouses.

Once he reached the greenhouses, he began to calm down a bit, able to focus somewhat as he opened the door to Greenhouse One. Carefully, he grabbed some shears and a pot, and fumbling slightly, he began to pull up a few muggle herbs and pot them. Whenever he had a panic attack, herbology always helped Neville refresh himself and calm down. The greenhouses were his safe place, especially since he was panicking more and more often now that You-Know-Who was back.

He potted a few more, patted down the soil a bit, and sighed.

He was in the greenhouses, and for now, everything would be okay.
