I stayed hidden under the table not popping out or showing myself.
I was under a light pink blanket that shielded me from harm.
Thunder shattered through the sky and I flinched and shuddered rapidly.
I heard the door creak open and saw Tamaki slip in.
"Haruhi!"
I hid deeper under the table, hiding myself from him.
I could get through this storm myself.
I always had gone through it by myself and I could do it again.
The need to have Tamaki's arms around me to comfort me was so strong I could barely tame it.
I listened to the patter of the rain pounding on the window.
It was strangely calming.
"Haruhi!"
He checked under the bed as a clap of thunder struck.
I shrieked, giving my presence away.
Tamaki peered under the table to see my shaking form.
"Haruhi, what are you doing?"
The thunder answered his question for me.
He sighed and helped me out from under the table.
lightening struck and I stumbled into his chest.
His broad chest rumbled with laughter.
His strong arms slipped around me and he lightly kissed me.
Thunder hit and I clutched him.
He and I sunk to the floor.
He pulled me to his chests, my back flush against his chest.
I leaned into him and he kissed my temple.
When thunder struck this time I grabbed his arms frantically.
He pulled me closer.
"Haruhi, it's okay. I'm here."
I nodded and focused on his arms around me.
We stayed like that and when the thunder hit the sky I didn't flinch.
I was content in his arms.
He shielded the thunder from me.
He was my shield.
Good? Bad?
