Lost but not forgotten

Sam had been feeling guilty all day, Cat got released from prison after 10 days but she would have been out faster if she would have bailed her out. It was her fault that she would be scarred for life. Sam figured Cat wouldn't want to see her so she left a note on her bed, packed a small bag, and headed off. However she left her phone by mistake.

All week Sam searched and found no place to stay, she had also had her money stolen so she had no more food to eat. But then a miracle happened. She found an ax, and a bunch of trees and bushes with berries. She knew what she had to do, build a house, and hunt and gather food.

All that night Sam gathered log after log until she had a nice hut in the field. She made a cooking area outside, and a roof and had plenty of berries to eat. For a while life was perfect except for one thing. She still had the regret of what happened to Cat, But she knew she could not approach her.

Unfourtunatly rats started getting into her log cabin and food was running out. Now she was getting sick to her stomach all the time, yet still she drank water from the muddy stream and ate crickets from the house. Sometimes she ended up eating the rats, which made her even more sick. Yet all Sam could think about was Cat, but she knew she couldn't go back to the apartment. She was sure that Cat would never forgive her.

However that was far from true. Cat had realized Sam was gone and started to search everywhere for her. She asked house by house if they had seen her but everyone said no. Just as she was about to give up hope, she and goomer foun smoke coming out of a chimney, it was from Sam's Cabin. But something was deathly wrong. There was poison fog around the cabin and it was going into the house.

At first cat didn't know Sam was in there, until she called and Sam moaned a sickly answer. Cat started to tell her to hang on. She couldn't go in cause of the poison so she called 911.

When they got to Sam with their gas masks, she had been badly poisoned with carbon dioxide. Cat called to her but Sam was unconscious and barely breathing. Cat rode with her to the hospital and stayed with her the whole night.

Sam had machines on her as she layed in the bed. Cat stroked her hair and face. When Sam woke up and saw Cat she scooted back in fear but Cat just hugged her real tight. She was so relieved she was ok. Sam stayed In the hospital for 2 more weeks and then was released. Cat told her she could come home, and she never wanted her to live in a homemade log cabin again. Before bed, they embraced once more.
