It was late at night as Buster toured his new theater for the fifth time. It was day of the Grand reopening and there was a huge party to celebrate. Everyone had gone home a while ago, but Buster stayed, to tour his theater again...and to see if he might make a new bed in the desk drawer.
The new Moon Theater was a grand one. The stage was even bigger, there were more seats and the balcony was wide, enough to fit a hundred people.
The backstage was proper with beautiful chairs and even a breakroom.
There were also new rehearsal studios and dressing rooms for each member and gifts!
Rosita got a beautiful new dress, Gunthar got a new outfit, Ash received a new guitar, Meena also received a new dress, Mike got a new suit and Johnny was presented with a brand new grand piano.
And up the stairs, Miss Crawley had a brand new office with a big desk and a coffee machine (she was very excited about).
On the right in her office was a door that read Buster Moon, Theater Owner that led into Buster's new office. It was a lot bigger then his old one with a brand new desk and chair. But what surprised him the most were the pictures and frames of past shows he had directed, he thought lost in the flood, that now hung neatly on the wall.
There was also a special shelf where his father's bucket sat, clean and sparkilng.
Above it was the picture that showed he and his dad opening the first Moon Theater and the second picture was of him and his friends opening their new theater.
Buster smiled as he took a seat on his chair. Leaning down he opened a drawer to see if it was big enough for him to sleep in.
But he was surprised to find, instead, a note from Eddie.
"Dear Buster,
I remember how you used to stay in a drawer, so I had Nana make something special for you."
And on the note were directions leading to the new staircase.
The Theater Owner walked out of his office and through his secretary's where he stopped and looked at the staircase that he originally thought led to the roof.
Walking, he was surprised to find another door which also said Buster Moon and hanging on the door knob was a key.
Taking it, Buster unlocked the door and was greeted to a wonderful sight.
Nana had built in an apartment for him! Walking it, Buster saw that it was all set, with a living room complete with furniture and a tv with his gaming console and all his games.
He also found that he had a beautiful new kitchen with a bar and stools with an already packed fridge. On the counter, he saw a a tupperware filled with Meena's chocolate chip cookies. (She knew those were his favorite.)
A complete bathroom with shower, sonk and toilet.
And finally, a bedroom with a queenside bed, nightstand with another T.V.
Buster felt tears come to his eyes.
It had been so long since he had slept in a real bed. He had not had a real place to live in so long, having to sale his house to pay for his theater.
Buster smiled as he noticed a picture in the living room, with his friends and him.
Buster smiled widely. Not only did he get a new place, he now had a family.
