It had all been so simple at Hogwarts. They evaded the teachers, escaped the questions, fell in love (or was is lust?), and found in each other what they wanted. Once a week they would meet. That once a week was heaven for her, hell for him. She needed him, he regretted her. Every sound she would make for him, it broke his heart more and more, knowing he could never have her. Everytime she felt his touch, she knew that she was right here. But as always, all good things must change as time changes. They each remembered his discovery in a different way.
She remembered it by the searing pain that coursed through her body when his fingers grazed against it through her sleeve, causing her to shriek out in pain. From the moment the confusion spread over his face, she knew all things must come to an end and that she was no longer safe here. She left soon after, thinking she would never see him again. Her angel.
He remembered the shock and slight disgust that came with it. They had been touching each other, giving themselves what they craved for, when she cried out. He wasn't in her, and she only cried around him then. He pulled away from her, confused for a moment before realizing what it was. She walked away from him. He wondered if he would ever she her again. His devil.
Time passed. They never even looked at each other that last year before they were divided up. The last day, she was pulled from her silence, called into her destiny. Her angel was lost. She accepted. He was asked to rejoin the D.A. What could he say? His devil was gone. He accepted.
They never met again. Not until almost two years later. It was a battle. Heavy. Painful. Death. Until he crashed into her. Avoiding certain death he trapped her under him, as he had done so many years before. Without thinking, without hesitation, she pullled his mouth down. Her angel had returned to save her. He instantly felt the lust overcome him. His devil was back to corrupt him.
They emerged, unharmed, scarring the world with their actions on the battle field.
Her angel saved her the next day.
His devil corrupted him just seconds before.
