Hermione swung lazily in the hammock, her feet occasionally nudging the ground so as to keep her smooth rhythm going.
Bright warm sunlight poured onto the open pages of her forgotten book and spilled across her face and hair, making the deep caramel curls shine and her eyes sparkle.
Her face aglow with happiness, she watched a handsome man and a young girl playing on a nearby swing set.
The girl twisted round, golden pig tails bouncing, grin widening as she saw her mother watching her.
Waving crazily, she turned back around again and yelled at her daddy to push her higher, small legs kicking fruitlessly in the air.
Giving one last mighty push that made the little girl squeal with excitement, her father walked away towards his wife, smiling at her all the way.
When he reached her, he knelt down next to the hammock, placing one hand on her swollen tummy and using the other to tuck some free curls behind her ear, he leaned over kissing her on her beautiful pink lips and whispered in her ear 'I love you…' before standing up and walking back over to his daughter to push her some more.
Sighing happily Hermione closed her eyes and revelled in the pure happiness she had found with Draco.
Life was good….
Ding Ding Ding Ding
Hermione woke with a start as the school bell rung, signalling the end of History of Magic.
She hastily wiped the dribble from the corner of her mouth and looked around surreptitiously to see if anyone had noticed that she had been asleep all lesson. As everyone was stretching their arms and yawning they obviously hadn't as they had all been fast asleep just like her.
Hermione breathed a sigh of relief and double checked that the box entitled 'Patented Daydream Charms' was safely hidden in her bag.
No one needed to know she was using it to dream about Malfoy.
And she was glad that no one had noticed that Hermione Granger, class know-it-all had been fast asleep instead of taking notes.
After swinging her school bag over her shoulder Hermione hurried out of the classroom, leaving Ron and Harry to make their own way down to lunch.
After reaching her dorm room Hermione sat down on her four poster bead and pulled out the violently pink box with a picture of a handsome youth and a swooning girl who were standing on the deck of a pirate ship.
She threw the box under her bed where it joined dozens of other similar boxes, all having been discarded when their purpose had been served.
Sitting back on the bed, Hermione buried her face in her hands.
She had a problem.
She was in love with Draco Malfoy.
