It was raining, like many of their other encounters. Metal met Metal, icy blue optics meet their mirror image, glaring at each other with more hatred than a normal human could muster. Neither spoke a word, as their blades collided again and scrapped against each other, trying to knock the other away so that they can slice through the flesh of the opposing twin. Only to knocked back. They stopped catching their breath, icy stares glaring at each other, at a mirror of himself. One dressed in blue the other in red.
No words were exchanged, as the two charged at each other at the same time, the loud sound of metal hitting metal echoing throughout the empty street that they fought on. If one looked closely, they could see the twisted smirks on both of the twin's faces, like they took some sort of twisted pleasure out of fighting each other. But no one could ever understand these two men, one minute they could hate each other, the next trying to save each other; no one has ever been able to figure them out.
Blades hit again, sending a loud 'Clang' into the rain, this time they remained still instead of pushing each other back. They stood there blades locked, in silence the only noise around them being the crash of lightning and the roaring sound of the rain.
"You've improved little brother," The blue clad man spoke, smugness clinging to his every word, watching his little brother frown at the air of smugness that hung around him before grinning right back at him.
"Maybe you're just getting slow, eh Verg?" The other commented getting a snarl out of his older brother, the two pushed each other back Vergil grabbing hold of a lamp post to stop himself from skidding while Dante used the Rebellion to slow him down, stabbing it into the road below him. "Had enough?" The younger twin taunted, pulling the large blade out of the ground and resting it on his shoulder as rain continued to pelt down on both of them.
Vergil smirked and sheathed his weapon, they both were worn out yet neither was about to admit it. The older twin walked over to his mirror image and shook his head, opening his mouth to say something only to be pushed against the wall of a building by his younger sibling. Icy blue optics narrowed to meet equally blue eyes, staring right back at him; it was Dante's turn to be smug.
"Didn't Dad always tell you not to let your guard down?" Dante asked with a smirk, impulsively crushing his mouth over his twin's, grinning as the other didn't fight back instead returned to rather impulsive kiss in kind. Dante moved his lips from Vergil's and trailed along the other's jaw line and up to his ear, nipping at the earlobe before returning his lips to Vergil's, pushing his tongue into the blue clad man's mouth. They stayed there for a great deal of minutes, in heated passion, lust and frustration before Dante pulled away smirking, letting go of Vergil's jacket.
Neither said a word. Vergil bent down and picked up Yamato that dropped out of his grip the second his lips were taken possession off and looked up at the sky, still raining. "See you back at the office?" Dante asked swinging Rebellion over his shoulder; Vergil grunted and dusted himself off of imaginary dust, his back facing his twin.
"Maybe…" Came Vergil's reply before he walked off into the cold darkness of the city, leaving his red clad twin, friend and lover behind. It was always the same old thing, fight, make out, maybe spend the night and then leave. Vergil wondered if he would ever get tired of it, but for now he didn't mind it at all.
He didn't mind the same old thing, over and over again.
