~*~*Girlfriend*~*~
By: Rainforest
I think I'm jealous of your girlfriend,
Although she's just a girl that is your friend.
I think I'm jealous of your girlfriend,
She shares a special part of you.
-Girlfriend by Alicia Keys
"Count me in!" said Harry, nodding towards Hermione. She invited him to a surprise party for Lavander.
Hermione left the Great Hall to study in the library. Ginny sat beside Harry and asked with an annoying voice "Count me in? What's that about?"
"It's just a surprise party for Lavander!" said Harry who looked puzzled about Ginny's voice. "Don't tell me your jealous again?" he said in a teasing voice. "Hermione's just a friend! She friendly!"
"Be sure about that!" said Ginny, her lips curled. "I'm a girl Harry…..and I know how girls act in front of their crushes."
"You're just hungry!" said Harry. He always reasoned that Ginny's just hungry when they argue. Harry thought that arguing was just a way of immaturity. He didn't want to fight with Ginny just because of Hermione. Besides, she liked Ron and vise versa.
Harry and Ginny walked out of the Great Hall but separated because they have different classes. Ginny motioned herself to the Transfiguration classroom. The classroom was crowded with sixth years of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
After a few minutes, Ginny was bored with the lecture of Professor McGonagall. Ginny took a parchment and a quill and scribbled something.
~*~*~*~
Harry went to the Transfiguration classroom after his Herbology Class. He was with Ron. They sat on the chair and listened to McGonagall on how to transfigurate their pets into water goblets ( one…two….three…fereverto! ).
Then, Harry saw something that was lying on his table. It was a bit of parchment with the handwriting of Ginny as he noticed. He took it instantly and looked…
I hate Hermione!
She flirts with Harry!
She's a flirt!
A FLIRT! A FLIRT!
Harry was shocked about this. He hid the parchment inside his robe. After the class, he walked towards the common room. He saw Ginny on one of the couches by the fireplace.
"What's this?" said Harry, showing Ginny the parchment. Ginny was stunned.
"Where did you get that?"
"I sat on your table and saw this!" said Harry in a louder and angry tone. "How could you do this! It's okay to me that you're jealous because of Hermione but not hate her!" Ginny was silent and lowered her head. "Even if you turn the world upside down, she's still my friend and will always be!"
Ginny thought that it was her time to speak and to defend herself but it was in a stuttering voice, "It's just that—er—that-"
"Just what?" Harry cut her words, angry.
"It's just that I love you so much and I don't want any girl to love you." Ginny was relieved to say what she felt.
"You're selfish!" said Harry, moving closer to her. Ginny lowered again her head.
"I know and I'm sorry" said Ginny who thought that she made a mistake to accuse Hermione for stealing her boyfriend. She was ashamed of herself.
Harry who thought again his logic about arguing, forgave Ginny and said, "Just don't do it again. You know I love you and will always be….forever, 'til death do us part."
Ginny was touched. She never thought that Harry was this serious about their relationship. Ginny replied, "I love you more."
Harry and Ginny hugged with teardrops falling from their cheeks.
