Gomamon's New Attack!

Gatomon and Gomamon were talking. Arguing, actually. Gatomon was saying, "Oh, come on! You summon guppies! G U P P I E S!!!"

Gomamon agreed with her, but he had to defend his attack. "It's not that bad! Really!"

Gatomon snorted and said, "Guppies."

Gomamon knew he had lost the argument. He got up and prepared to leave. But before he could, Gatomon grabbed him. "Gomamon? Please don't go. I'm sorry about what I said."

Gomamon turned to her and said, "No, you're right. I summon guppies. How pathetic is that?"

Gatomon smiled at him. "Fairly pathetic. But who cares?"

"*I* should. I do, in fact. It's totally useless. As a fighter, I'm useless."

"You don't have to be, you know."

Gomamon turned his head and stared Gatomon right in the face. "What do you mean?"

She smiled and said, "I know a way to get you a better attack."

"What?"

"It's simple, really. Just follow me!"

So saying, Gatomon dashed off. Gomamon followed her, but not very quickly. Eventually, they reached a medium sized temple. Over the door was engraved a picture of a beach.

Gomamon was out of breath, and as he spoke to Gatomon, his words were punctuated by short gasps. "*gasp* Hey, where *wheeze* are we?"

"Well, this is the temple of Sea & Sand, you might be able to get a new attack."

Gomamon walked into the temple after thanking Gatomon. The main room was oddly shaped. (Here, let me draw you a map)

See?

Gomamon walked forward caustiously, looking about for traps. As he reached the middle of the room, a sudden noise made him come to a complete halt. It went, "WOOP WOOP! WATER DIGIMON! REDIRECT! WOOP WOOP!"

A large hand materialized from nothing and picked up Gomamon. "Huh? Hey! Let go!"

The hand merely flew into the left hand passage and dumped him in a small room. A slightly softer voice than the first one spoke. "Water Digimon, you are hear to receive the sea's blessing. Answer the riddle and ye shall pass."

"Pass? Like a test? But I haven't studied!"

"The question is this: What is the nature of Water?"

Gomamon smirked. Others might not know the answer, but he did. Who else knew the water better than him? "The answer is simple. Water is change, yet it also constancy. Water is paradox!"

"Correct."

A small door opened up and Gomamon walked through it. In the next room, he saw a strange, angelic digimon. "Who are you?"

"I am what you could be. I am what you should be. I am what you will be. I am Marineangemon. Come, touch my hand."

He extended one hand, Gomamon hesitantly reached out a flipper and placed it in the water angel's hand. As soon as he did so, the strange digimon disappeared. Gomamon felt powerful eldritch energy coursing through his body. When his head cleared, he was outside the temple, next to Gatomon. She smiled at him and asked, "Did you get a new attack?"

Gomamon grinned back and said, "Salvation Flood!" A huge wall of water appeared and smacked down on Gatomon.

She growled and said, "I'll take that as a yes, then. But you should have known better than to get a cat wet!"

With that, she pounced at him. He dodged and started to run. The two friends ran all around the forest. Gomamon was laughing the entire time. He had a better attack.

The End.

A/N- Okay, I just wrote this because I wanted my muse to have a better attack than guppies. It's given me a couple of ideas, though. I might write a sequel!
