Previously on Kids Next Door:
"Foolish children! I am the Avalanche Man!" He roared, covering the children's vision in a blizzard of hard ice that burned the parts of their uncovered skin.
"This is bad!" Numbah 2's voice carried through the roaring winds. "Really bad!"
It was dark. It was cold. Especially to him.
Numbah Five was unconscious under the snow. Numbah Four was trying to fight his was out from beneath it. Numbah Three was still frozen in ice. Numbah Two was trying to fight his way out. And Numbah One..
I have to fight. I need to get out and help my team. I.. I need to not freeze. Nigel tried to keep his heat inside. I.. I'm cold.. The boy felt his body getting cold. I can't... Hold on... But he also felt himself getting hot. The snow around Numbah One lit up like a bright fire, revealing his silhouette in the snow.
The others saw light, from beneath the snow. Numbah Four and Numbah Two began to fight their way to it. It was their way out. They had to take it. To go to the light and fight back. To save their team, to stop the Arctic KND faction. It was the only way.
