It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon as Nick walked up the path that lead to his husband's grave where he came to a halt right in front of it. He looked down at the grave tears filling his eyes. Kneeling down he ran his fingers over the engraved name written across he softly spoke his voice cracking at that.
"Greg darlin' I miss you terribly I wish ya' where here with me" Nick said through his tears. He stood at his grave with the music that started to play softly behind him.
Looking back, on the memory of,
The dance we shared, beneath the stars above,
For a moment, all the world was right,
How could I have known, that you'd ever say goodbye,
Nick couldn't believe he was gone, but the reality of it was he was gone and he couldn't bring him back. His tears continued to fall as he finally allowed himself to weep.
And now, I'm glad I didn't know,

Nick took out the gun he had held in his left hand he then took out the badge that he had held as well placing it on his grave he stood back "Oh darlin' why did ya' have to leave me? I cannot go on like this I wanna be with ya'" Nick cried softly as he brought the gun up looking at it then back to the grave stone.

The song ended as he let the mp3 player fall to the ground bringing the gun up to his temple he whispered softly "Darlin' I'm coming to you"
Nick closed his eyes and pulled the trigger. Hours later the CSI team found Nick's body beside the gravestone he had gone to see earlier. After the funeral they laid his body beside his husband to were they could finally rest in peace and the two lovers could finally be reunited as the gravestone was emerged to reveal both names.
