They were on edge as they landed on the white sand. Apparently, the trophy for the TriWizard Tournament was portkey. They were surround my white light sand despite what direction or diagonal they looked at.The Island itself made little sense. There was nothing but sand in every direction, no trees, no discernable vegetation. Other than the few palm trees they had found at near the landing point where the portkey had dropped them.
"Maybe this is part of the Tournament. Some sort of built in tie breaker, just in case anyone did what we did?" Harry theorized.
"Hanging with Granger has been good for you." Cedric smiled.
"Yeah, but we'd probably be a little better off if I had somehow gotten Ron's ability to sniff out food anywhere."
"We can search around this area…never go out of each other's sight, and we call out and come back together the second we find anything at all." With the plan agreed upon the two young men separated and started to search for sustenance. Neither had any way to tell time and the time they searched felt all too long and yet not long enough when Cedric called out Harry's name and the duo made their way back towards each other.
"Oh thank God and Merlin, you found food." Harry praised Cedric. Harry took a second glance at the food that Cedric was able to find and instantly disappointed yet again.
Cedric arched his back and slammed the coconut on the rock. It was a crass method but very effective. Due to his efforts, the coconut split into equal parts. Cedric handed one halve to Harry. Then Harry in a state of euphoria actually kissed him.
"Well, I establish myself as the monarch of this realm." Cedric said.
"So, I'm just a lowly servant?" Harry questioned appalled.
"No, you can be my lady." Cedric said smoothly.
"I think I might love you." Harry blurted out.
